"DID JESUS DRINK WINE?"
Many Churches and their Members like to justify the drinking of wine at communion and in general by saying that Christ Jesus drank wine and gave wine to the Apostles at the last supper; but that is a fallacy. There is absolutely no scriptural evidence that Christ Jesus ever drank wine Himself or ever tried to get anyone else to drink wine. ln all scriptural accounts of the last supper it is "the cup" or "the fruit of the vine" that Jesus offers to the Apostles, not wine:
LUKE 22
15 And he [Christ Jesus] said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: 18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. 19 ¶ And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
MARK 14
22 ¶ And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. 23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. 24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. 25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
MATTHEW 26
26 ¶ And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
1-CORINTHIANS 11
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come.

"MAYBE THE TERM "THE FRUIT OF THE VINE" WAS CHRIST'S WAY OF SAYING WINE?"
Not likely, Christ Jesus had no problem using the word wine in other parts of the New Testament:
MATTHEW 9
15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. 16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. 17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

"WELL, JESUS MADE WINE THOUGH!"
Yes, Jesus did make wine at the Cana of Galilee Wedding to honor his blessed Mother Mary and keep the Commandment "Honour thy ... mother" (if Christ Jesus would have broken this commandment to Honour His Mother He would have become a sinner and ineligible to make atonement for our sins), but there is no evidence that He drank any of the wine, or that He told anyone to drink the wine He had made:
JOHN 2
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

"BUT DIDN'T JESUS SAY THAT HE CAME EATING AND DRINKING, AND THAT CERTAIN PEOPLE CALLED HIM A DRUNK (WINEBIBBER)?"
Yes, Jesus did say that He came eating and drinking, and that the people called Him a drunk. But consider the context: Christ is most assuredly referring to the wedding of Cana in this quote; and at a wedding He would have been eating and drinking (like everyone else); but what Christ was drinking is not revealed. Moreover the context of this quote is how the people had slandered John the Baptist and Christ with words that were not true. And isn't it plausible that the people said He was a drunk because of association? After all Jesus had just made wine and was hanging around with people that were drinking wine. If you, not knowing me, saw me (a Christian) walking out of a bar with a bunch of drunks you wouldn't think that I was a Christian would you? No, you'd think that I was just another drunk just like the rest of them because of association; no matter what I was drinking when I was with them:
MATTHEW 11
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
LUKE 7
33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!

"CHRIST JESUS REFUSED TO DRINK WINE RIGHT BEFORE HE WAS NAILED TO THE CROSS!"
MARK 15
22 And they bring him [Christ Jesus] unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull. 23 And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not. 24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.

"WOULD CHRIST JESUS BEING OUR GREAT HIGH PRIEST DRINK WINE?"
It is very unlikely that Christ Jesus the Great High Priest would drink wine since the first High Priest and all other Priests after Him were forbidden to drink wine when approaching God in the service of a Priest, forever:
LEVITICUS 10
8 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Aaron [the first High Priest], saying, 9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons [the subordinate Priests] with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute [law] for ever throughout your generations: 10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean . . .
HEBREWS 4
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin [¹breaking a law].

"BUT WASN'T CHRIST JESUS A PRIEST AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK, AND DIDN'T THE PRIEST MELCHIZEDEK DRINK WINE WITH ABRAHAM?"
No, Melchizedek brought bread and wine to Abraham, blessed Abraham and received tithes of Abraham, but there is no scriptural evidence that the Priest Melchizedek ever drank wine:
GENESIS 14
18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. 19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram [Abram was Abraham's name before God changed it] of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: 20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

"THE ONLY TIME ANYONE IS ADMONISHED TO DRINK WINE IN THE NEW TESTAMENT, WAS WHEN THAT PERSON WAS SICK!"
1-TIMOTHY 5
23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.

"DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE IN THE BIBLE THAT CHRIST JESUS EVER DRANK WINE; SO IF YOU'RE ABUSING ALCOHOL IN THE NAME OF CHRIST CHANGE YOUR MIND (REPENT)!"
1-CORINTHIANS 6
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1-JOHN 1
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him [God], and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins [to God through Christ Jesus], he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
JOHN 6
37 All that the Father giveth me [Christ Jesus] shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
ROMANS 10
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [Christ Jesus] shall be saved.

"IF ALCOHOL ABUSE IS YOUR SIN AND YOU WANT TO BE SAVED MAKE THIS PRAYER YOUR OWN"
Dear God, I am truly sorry, please forgive me for breaking Your Laws (¹sinning against You); I change my mind from my way, to Your Way, and will live my life according to that change of mind (I repent). Jesus, I believe that You are the Christ (Messiah) the Son Of God; that You died on the Cross as payment for my sins; that You were buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Jesus, I put my faith in you; please cleanse me with Your Sinless Blood; reconcile me unto God the Father. Have the Holy Spirit enter into my body and become one with my spirit: cause me to be ²Born Again. I now personally receive You Christ Jesus as my Lord, and Savior. Thank You Lord Jesus for Saving me. Amen.
